Turmeric, ginger, black pepper, and cinnamon come together in this flavourful paste, serving as the perfect base for a rich and nourishing golden latte. Packed with warming spices, it not only enhances the drink’s taste but also brings powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits.

For the ultimate wellness boost, we love pairing our Golden Latte with  Everee #5 - Active Aging.

Did you know?

Curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, is absorbed better by the body when paired with black pepper!

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp finely grated fresh ginger

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • ¼ cup ground turmeric

  • 3 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup water

  • 3 Tbsp extra virgin coconut oil or a flavourless oil such as rice bran

To make a single serve of golden latte:

  • ¼ cup boiling water
  • ¾ cup trim milk or plant milk of choice

  • 1 scoop (2 tsp) Everee #5

  • Honey or maple syrup to sweeten (optional)

To make a single serve of golden latte:

Step 1

Place all ingredients except the oil in a small saucepan.

Step 2

Heat over medium heat, whisking continually until it starts bubbling. Reduce the heat.

Step 3

Continue whisking for 3–4 minutes until you have a smooth, fragrant paste.

Step 4

Remove from heat and whisk in the oil until fully combined.

Step 5

Spoon the paste into a small glass jar and store in the refrigerator for up to one month.

To serve:

Step 1

Place 1 tsp of the golden latte paste in a mug.

Step 2

Add ¼ cup boiling water and stir to loosen.

Step 3

Gently mix in Everee #5 to dissolve.

Step 4

Top with ¾ cup heated or steamed milk.

Step 5

Sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired.

Tip: Steamed milk from a coffee machine or milk frother will give your latte a creamy, café-style finish. If you’re new to golden lattes, a little sweetener can help balance the earthy spices.
