Product Information

What makes Everee different from other collagen or wellness supplements?

The Everee Women™ range contains Ovitage®, the world’s most complete collagen.

The creation of Everee has been led by women to meet the particular needs at each stage of our lives. It’s now well-documented that natural hormonal changes have far-reaching effects on the quality on women’s lives and the Everee range is designed to support women in each stage with high quality peptides and clinically-proven ingredients.

Lead by women, ingredients 100% sourced in NZ, better for the planet with more traceability and less cruelty.

What is Ovitage® collagen, and how is it unique?

Ovitage® collagen is an easy to digest protein made with a new and novel process that extracts the proteins from a sheep skin, a source that has never been used before.

This makes it different from other collagens because it has a much wider range of amino acids (the building blocks that proteins are made of). This means it is much more effective compared to other collagens as it provides more of the specific starting materials needed to help specific biological processes (such as muscle synthesis, neurotransmitter production and antioxidant generation). Conventional collagen is typically from cow or fish skin and has a much smaller range of amino acids.

Why does Everee use less soluble collagen?

Because it works better. The Ovitage® collagen in Everee is made of a wider range of amino acids (the building blocks of proteins) than regular collagens.

Some of these extra amino acids form peptides that are not very soluble, especially in aqueous liquids. However, they are also very powerful in the body, performing functions such as supporting muscle growth and maintenance, boosting the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant systems in the body, and promoting collagen production in skin and hair.

Is Everee suitable for vegans/vegetarians?

No, as it is derived from 'ovine' (sheep). Collagen can only be extracted from animal sources.

Is it allergy friendly?

Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free, Soy-Free, Keto-Friendly, Low Carb & Low Fat, Refined Sugar-Free, Free of Artificial Colours, Flavours, and Additives.

Everee #3 does contain kiwifruit extract, however, so if you have a sensitivity to kiwifruit, this may not be the right product for you.

Everee #2 and Everee #5 contain sheep’s milk powder, and many individuals with lactose intolerance find they can tolerate it better than cow's milk. This is because sheep milk typically has lower lactose levels and a higher proportion of A2 beta-casein, which is easier to digest. Additionally, sheep milk contains shorter-chain fatty acids, which may also contribute to gentler digestion.

Can I take Everee if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

There are increased protein requirements during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so taking Everee is a convenient way to boost your intake. If you have any doubts, check with your healthcare professional.

How do I choose the right Everee for me?

Generally, the Everee for you will be determined by the stage of your life, as it is formulated with those demands in mind.

However, if you have specific needs that usually occur at earlier or later stages, another Everee may be beneficial.

View products or contact us and we will happily help you choose the right Everee.

Can I mix Everee with anything (e.g., smoothies, coffee, water)?

You can, and people do all of those. Smoothies are always a good choice to improve the palatability.

You can mix Everee into almost any liquid or wet food. Each product has slightly different benefits and blends best in different formats—check product for specific suggestions.

How long do I need to take Everee to notice benefits?

Some people notice a positive difference very quickly, within weeks. It depends on the benefit you are talking about. For a biological effect such as improvement in skin quality or decreased hair thinning, we expect it to take around 4 weeks. But everyone is different! Everee is protein, so you may notice some differences in your digestion, such as frequency of bowel movements, if your protein intake increases.

Is it okay to switch between different Everee products?

Absolutely. Even though Everee is designed with specific stages in mind, everyone is unique, which means there are benefits to using other Everee products. For example, if you have joint issues and are pre- or peri-menopausal, you could use Everee #5.

Can I take Everee alongside other supplements or medications?

The simple answer is yes, there is no reason to think it will be a problem. There have been concerns raised about some proteins, such as whey powder protein, interacting with certain drugs like Lexapro (mostly linked to the amino acid tryptophan, which is not found in Everee) but these findings are not consistent.

If you are concerned that it may affect medications such as antibiotics, you can take Everee 4-6 hours before taking the antibiotics or 2 hours after. If in doubt, contact your health care provider.

Are there any side effects or things I should be aware of?

Everee has Ovitage® collagen in every product, which is a protein, so you may notice some differences in your digestion, such as frequency of bowel movements, if your protein intake increases.

Does it matter what time of day I take Everee?

It doesn’t matter; whatever suits your lifestyle is best. By taking it at the same time every day, it’s easier to get into a routine, but it really doesn’t matter.

Why does Everee taste stronger than other collagen products?

Everee contains Ovitage®, which is a special collagen that contains peptides made up of a wider range of amino acids. These extra amino acids include branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), which tend to have a bitter taste. In addition, some Everees (#4 and #5) contain ingredients that are themselves quite bitter or astringent. But don’t worry, you can add Everee to a wide range of foods and drinks (see our recipe page for suggestions) and adjust the taste to whatever suits your palate.

What is Livaux®?

Livaux® Gold Kiwifruit extract is an award-winning and clinically proven prebiotic, providing added vitamin C and digestive support. Packed with vitamin C and fibre, Livaux® Gold Kiwifruit improves gut and digestive health by helping support a balanced gut microbiome and aids in weight management — common concerns during perimenopause.

What is cystine and why isn’t it in other collagens?

Cystine is a sulfur-rich amino acid, important in structural proteins in the body such as skin and hair, as well as crucial metabolic pathways associated with protein synthesis, healing, and defence against inflammation and oxidative stress.

Typical dietary collagen powders are purified forms of one or two members of the collagen family, such as collagen I and collagen III. These do not contain cystine.

Everee Women™ contains Ovitage®, a unique extract from whole ovine skin, which contains a much broader range of collagens and other structural proteins due to its novel extraction method. As a result, Everee Women™ contains cystine and other amino acids, such as tyrosine, not found in ordinary collagen.

What type of collagen do you use?

All Everee Women™ products are made from Ovitage® Ovine Collagen Peptides. The world's most complete collagen.

Each Everee has a unique amino acid profile. See product details for the amino acid profile per 100g.

Where is Everee Women™ made?

Everee Women™ is made at our manufacturing facility in Ōtautahi, Christchurch, under strict quality controls. Our core Ovitage® technology is sourced entirely from New Zealand sheep, supplied through the robust and fully traceable supply chain operated by our partner, Silver Fern Farms. As a result, each batch is traceable back to the pasture-based, ethically managed farm as the point of origin.

All Everee Women™ products are proudly grown, developed, and extracted right here in Aotearoa New Zealand. We’re the only collagen brand that’s 100% made—not imported, not blended, but truly homegrown and science-built in NZ.
